Recommendation for treating swimming pool Algae
- Run the pool pump continuously (24 hours a day) until the pool is clear
- Scrub and vacuum pool every day
- Put in a bottle of Algaecide and let the pump run for 2-4 hours
- Then add double shock in the pool (Dissolve shock in warm water in a 5-gallon bucket)
- Keep chlorine very high for at least 24 hours after the algae is gone
- If the pool turns cloudy then use Clarifier to bind cloudiness together so the filter can pick it up
